So, I have class in an hour and I'm sitting here, wondering if I should actually get some work done (although I honestly don't know what I'd do... I have that paper to write, but that's about it, amazingly enough! Oh, well, I do have that American Gov. quiz to take... which won't kill much time...) OR I could open a blogger account and mess around on that for awhile...

Just watch... in my last class of the day, I'll get a killer homework assignment. I can just feel it...

Posting yet again today... :oP [edit - I just realized that I technically posted this tomorrow. Wow, now I'm confusing myself... that's a sure sign it's bedtime. :oP ]

You know, being a Lutheran is a wonderful thing. You get beat over the head with the Law, but then there's the sweet Gospel... <grins>

If I weren't Lutheran, I'd be so depressed... you get beat up with the Law constantly, but there's little to no Gospel. Speaking of which, I need to find a pastor on campus who would be willing to provide private Confession and Absolution. And I can't wait for Sunday... I need Communion badly this week. Not that I don't *every* week, just this week especially.

<sighs> I can't even go to another church service until Sunday. Well, I guess there's chapel, but I need something that's actually edifying... <sighs again>

Nathan and Jeff are going to kill me. :oP

I skipped out on going to some philosophy thing with them so I could sit on my butt and "work." I honestly planned on working, but then I got involved in an aim conversation and I started messing around with graphics and reading blogs... yeah...

Oh, and I'm getting hyped up on Dr. Pepper. I'm going to some thing tonight and I want to stay awake. I managed to nap for over half an hour today and I'm still worn out. I wish it was Friday so badly...

At least I don't have anything due tomorrow. :oD

Oh, and my friends are evil. I'm already considering getting a blogger. It has so many nice features... <sighs> And I just got the Xanga, too...

Today has been interesting. Apparently, the paper I want to write for Intro to Writing is "hokey." I'm writing it anyway. :oP

And the debate yesterday... ugh. Half of the argument was that Roberts is "white and male," and the other half was that he's "against affirmative action." Bascially, they want a black, liberal female. I think if that's the best they can come up with, they should just concede now. I mean, good grief! I thought we weren't supposed to look at someone's color of skin. Guess that just means it only matters if they're white. Also, being against affirmative action just means that Roberts is level-headed, at least in my book. ;o) I liked one of the analogies used... the liberals kept bringing up how judges are like umpires, so Roberts would be biased unfairly towards one team/side. The conservatives countered by reminding them that umpires can't decide to "level the playing field" by giving the worse team four strikes or some such thing... they follow the rules of the game and don't make any new ones up. That's the kind of judge I want.

And, now that that's out of my system... ;oP

Katie has me obsessed with Phantom music. My roommates will probably want to beat her over the head after a week of it...

Well, yesterday was fun... Katie and I got bored, so we wandered the halls singing music from Phantom. I'm sure we looked like nuts. ;oP

I have a quiz today in OT I probably won't do very well on. From the study guide, it looks more like a test...

I also have to go to a debate today on John Roberts. Right over lunch, too... fun for me... at least Ann might go with me. :o)

Oh, and the book I'm reading... that's not the edition I'm reading, but it's the book. ;oP Xanga can't find the edition... figures, huh? ;oP

Anyway, it's a good book... definitely different, but good! Like I told Katie, the vocabulary is AWESOME! :oD
